Carol Metcalf Hosts Top Comedy Talent at Blind Tiger March 7th

Santa Barbara, CA, March 7, 2015– Carol Metcalf begins her fourth month producing live standup comedy shows at Blind Tiger. The first show of the New Year features headliner Dwayne Perkins, who just filmed a Stand up Special January 11th in LA. His observations on living with roommates, his family and ironic humor is  very funny. Carol Metcalf is a local comedian and actor. Carol has promoted comedy events for over 20 years in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. Blind Tiger is at 409 State Street, phone (805) 957-4111. The Show begins at 8 PM. Tickets are $15.00 at the door, $10.00 in advance and may be purchased at the Blind Tiger website blindtigersb.com. The comedy talent includes: Dwayne Perkins has performed throughout the U.S. and on National TV, including CNN, Comedy Central, the Laugh Factory, and filmed his first Comedy special in LA January 11th for HBO He performs throughout California and nationally. Carol Metcalf lives in Santa Barbara and has performed at the LA Improv, as a regular at The Comedy Store, Groundlings, appeared on Comedy Central, and with Chelsea Handler on Girls Behaving Badly. She recently headlined in San Francisco and Austin. Melanie Baldonado has appeared on Stand Up and Deliver, The Craig Ferguson Show and is a headliner at clubs across the nation. Jason Love has appeared in comedy clubs throughout California and nationally and was part of San Francisco Comedy Festival and the Santa Barbara Comedy Festival. He is also creator of a syndicated cartoon, Snapshots. Maija DiGiorgio has appeared in Hollywood Outlaw the movie, Laugh Factory, and has had a successful run of her One Woman Show, “You Probably Thing This Song Is About You” She has headlined nationally. Cat Wagner is an up and coming young comic who has appeared at clubs across California and winner of the Burbank Comedy Festival. A portion of March 7th show will benefit Teddy Bears for Cancer.
